*Out of Network. GWC does not bill out-of-network insurances but can provide a monthly invoice, which clients can submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. Out-of-network sessions must be paid in full at the time of service.
*Some of our therapists are considered to be “in-network” providers with some insurances. We file insurance claims as a courtesy to our clients, but it remains the clients responsibility to remit payment for services rendered. Please contact your insurance company directly for information regarding your mental health benefits and expected expenses.
*Please be aware that in order to bill your insurance you will need to be given a diagnosis. Your therapist will go over that with you at the first session. If you are not comfortable with that, you can elect to not use your insurance and pay the full fee per session. If you decide to work with a therapist who is Not In Network with your plan, you will be responsible for the full fee per session. You might be able to get a full or partial reimbursement from your insurance for services, if you have ‘out of network’ benefits. Please check with your insurance provider prior to receiving services to see if this is an option for you and what the process is to get reimbursement.
Questions to ask the insurance company include:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is my coverage per therapy session? Do I have a co-pay?
Rates of Service for cash /self pay
If you are paying out of pocket for therapy, you have a right to a “Good Faith Estimate”, which will explain how much care will cost. See our Additional Resources Tab for more information or make sure you ask your therapist.
Please contact our office for current self pay rates.
